The heroes, Natalie and Vitor (names are customizable)
Age: 13
You live with your elderly aunt in sleepy Moki town. Your father is a celebrated Pokemon Ranger, but he is rarely home. Due to this, you grew up more independent. At the start of the game, you get a job working for Professor Bamb’o as your aunt can no longer support you.
The rival, Theo Caine
Age: 11
Theo is hotheaded and immature. He recieves the starter weak to yours and is constantly resentful because of it. That doesn’t stop him from helping you out on occasion. He seems to care deeply for his Pokemon despite losing frequently.
Professor Ernest Bamb’o
Age: 36
An expert on Pokémon elements and a very laid-back guy. Bamb’o owns a lab in Moki town and is more than willing to give out starter Pokémon to a couple of kids in return for their help in completing the Pokédex. He will show up occasionally to aid you on your journey as well.
Your father, Kellyn
Age: 40
A celebated Pokemon Ranger and head of the Tandor Ranger Union, Kellyn is not that good of a father. Ever since your mother’s death, he’s been traveling the region restlessly. He has a rich life history, having lived in Fiore and Almia before moving to Tandor.
Your mother, Lucille
Age: deceased (?)
Lucille was a scientific genius, a pioneer in clean energy technology and the manager of Tandor’s newest nuclear power plant until she lost her life in a freak technical malfunction, ten years prior to the events of the game. They never uncovered her body, so Kellyn still maintains the delusion that she is alive and out there, somewhere…
Cameron Caine
Age: 38
Theo’s father, who also lives in Moki town. He is a skilled electrician and was there at the power plant 10 years ago, although he managed to escape with his life. Supposedly used to be a skilled electric-type trainer when he was younger. Now, he cares deeply for his son and will do whatever it takes to make him safe and happy.
The first Gym leader, Maria
Age: 17
Type: Normal
Maria is the first gym leader you will encounter in your quest. Her Gym is in Nowtoch city. She is flippant and prone to truancy. She is actually a very skilled trainer and the winner of last year’s Regional Championship.
The second Gym leader, Davern
Age: 28
Type: Cave Pokemon
Davern’s gym, located in Burole town, is in a cave which he excavated himself. An expert spelunker, Davern spent his childhood exploring caves and tunnels, and even found a safe location to successfully evacuate everyone in his hometown when there was a tsunami. His strength is formidable.
The third Gym leader, Cali
Age: 21
Type: Beach Pokemon
Cali, whose gym is in Bealbeach city, loves to swim and surf in the warm waters of the Tandor ocean. Her passion for swimming came when, as a child, she was swept out to sea by a riptide and would have drowned, had a wild Pokemon not rescued her. Now, she works as a lifeguard when not facing challengers at the gym.
